Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Scalp Boss ("the Platform"), operated by Strykon ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. What Scalp Boss Is
Scalp Boss is a booking, scheduling, and client management platform designed for head spas and scalp health businesses. The Platform enables business owners ("Tenants") to manage appointments, services, staff, and client relationships, and enables their customers ("End Users") to book appointments online.
3. Account Registration
To use Scalp Boss as a Tenant, you must create an account with accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Tenant account.
4. Service Description
The Platform provides Tenants with a hosted booking page, appointment scheduling, client management tools, staff management, and related business operations features. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
5. User Responsibilities
Tenants are responsible for the accuracy of their business information, service descriptions, pricing, staff details, and availability displayed through the Platform. Tenants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to their business operations.
End Users are responsible for providing accurate contact information when booking appointments and for honoring their bookings.
6. Booking Policies
Cancellations. Each Tenant sets their own cancellation policy. End Users should review the Tenant's cancellation terms before booking. Scalp Boss is not responsible for disputes between Tenants and End Users regarding cancellations.
No-shows. Tenants may establish no-show policies, including fees. Such policies are the Tenant's responsibility to communicate and enforce.
Deposits. Some Tenants may require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposit amounts and refund policies are set by the individual Tenant.
7. Payment Terms
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Tenants connect their own Stripe account through the Platform. Scalp Boss facilitates the payment but does not hold or control Tenant funds.
A platform fee may apply to transactions processed through Scalp Boss. Current fee structures are communicated to Tenants during onboarding and in their account settings.
Scalp Boss is not a party to the transaction between Tenants and End Users and is not responsible for refunds, chargebacks, or payment disputes, except as required by law.
8. Intellectual Property
The Scalp Boss name, logo, and platform are the property of Strykon. Tenants retain ownership of their business content, including logos, images, and service descriptions uploaded to the Platform. By uploading content, Tenants grant Scalp Boss a limited license to display that content on their hosted booking page and related Platform features.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strykon and Scalp Boss shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, profits, or data, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify Tenants via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
